The Chellaram Diabetes Institute (CDI) is the National Academic Partner for the Curriculum Development of the Advanced Certificate Course in the Prevention and Management of Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease (ACMDC), working in association with the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI).
The multi-disciplinary team at CDI has actively participated in developing the content of this course.
ACMDC is accredited by the World Heart Federation (WHF) and the Centre for Chronic Disease Control (CCDC).
This course, spread over 6 months, comprises 6 modules; each module would be covered in interactive sessions, held at several centres across the country. To help practising doctors, who may not be able to spare time during their busy schedule, the course will be conducted on a Saturday/Sunday of every month.
It is estimated that in this cycle, around 300 doctors would be trained across India.
CDI is also among the Regional Centres for conducting the course. Registration for the course is open. Join now!
