Especially, this will help nurses and other paramedics to manage critically ill patients with diabetes in the wards and ICU and be able to impart diabetes education to them at the time of discharge. This course will not only enable the health care team members to manage diabetes well during hospitalization but will also empower the patient and his/her family to do the same at home. This two days course is divided as follows:

14th November -8:30 AM -6:00 pm. It includes –

• Module-1:Principle of Diabetes 
• Module-2 :Monitoring and Surveillance 
• Module-3 :Management of Diabetes.

Hands on experience -Continuous Glucose monitoring devices -Libre pro and Dexcom,

Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose, Administration  of Insulin -Different Pens and Syringes, Insulin Pump- A to Z.

15th November -8:30 AM-6:00 PM. It includes –

• Module-4 :Diabetes and It’s Complication,
• Module-5 :Diabetes in Special Population,
• Exam and Certificate Distribution.

Demonstration on Modem technology -VPT,ABI , Monofilament etc.
